Language Development
"Language is the expression of ideas by means of speech-sounds combined into words. Words are combined into sentences, this combination answering to that of ideas into thoughts.” -
Henry Sweet
Language is a crucial component in the development of children. Language is the process by which children come to understand and effectively communicate with others.

Social-Emotional Development
Social-emotional well-being is the developing capacity to experience, regulate, and express emotions, form close, secure relationships; explore
the environment; and learn
.

Sensory/Motor Development
Sensory Motor Development is the interaction between sensation and movement. Our bodies receive sensory information through our sensory systems( vision, smell, hearing, touch, and
taste). We need to be able to connect and process this information in order to generate the correct movement response.

Cognitive Development
Cognitive development  focuses on how children learn, their  thought process, memory, problem solving, language, and decision-making. When cognitive skills are strong, academic learning
is fast, easy, efficient, and even fun.

Gross Motor Development
Gross Motor skills pertain to the large muscles in the arms, legs, and torso. These skills also involve body awareness, reaction speed, balance and strength; which allow children to move and
control their body movements. Gross motor skills enable children to run, climb, kick, jump.

Fine Motor Development
Fine Motor Development can be defined as small muscle movements: those that occur in the finger, in coordination with the eyes. Fine motor skills enable children to perform such functions
as writing, grasping small objects, fastening clothing, etc.
